Jonathan Sweet is the Marketing & Admissions Director at EXIS Recovery. From a young age, Jonathan has found meaning in helping others overcome their challenges and fulfill their potential. At the age of 16 years old, he joined the Florham Park Volunteer Fire Department as a Junior Auxiliary Member, and soon thereafter became the youngest Assistant Lieutenant at the age of 18. His desire to help, and his compassion and understanding toward individuals with mental health troubles deepened five years ago when he himself struggled with balancing out his emotions. He learned to foster his resilience and stand by those who need help. Presently, Jonathan is deeply committed to assisting people in his community grow and overcome the challenges of trauma and addiction.
At EXIS Recovery, Jonathan works with clients and their families from the moment they get introduced to the program until their graduation, while also helping them re-integrate back into the community. Jonathan is invested in helping clients make the most of their experience at EXIS, both supporting them directly one-one-one during their healing journey, as well as advocating for them with government and insurance agencies. In this capacity, he devotes much of his time at EXIS in assistance of the Clinical Director and the clinicians, to ensure that the clients receive the best care. Jonathan also works closely with the Program Director to continually develop the curriculum by introducing new, innovative, approaches to treatment.
